Stephanie Christiansen, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Stephanie is a medical speech-language pathologist in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Missouri State University and her Master of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Speech Pathology.

Stephanie has worked in the acute care hospital setting for over 25 years, including Level I trauma centers, where she completed diagnostics and treatment on a wide variety of adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders. These settings have provided diverse exposure to patients with neurological disorders, dementia, traumatic brain injury, critical care with tracheostomy/vent dependence and head & neck cancer. Her greatest interest is dysphagia, an area of critical importance in the medical setting. Her experiences include program development, FEES program start up, mentorship of both clinicians and graduate students and competency development.

During her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, children & rescue dogs, water sports, walks on brisk mornings and thrifting for vintage purses.
